Travis Prince

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Travis has 18 years of experience in investment real estate with total transaction volume exceeding $1.5B. His breadth of expertise spans multiple asset classes including conventional apartments, student housing, self-storage and senior housing. Travis founded PrincEquity in 2010 after witnessing the dislocation in the capital markets and corresponding opportunity presented by the economic collapse of 2008. PrincEquity was founded as a boutique real estate private equity company offering investors the opportunity to take advantage of strong risk adjusted returns through alternative investments in niche markets. In keeping with his strategy of focusing on niche real estate markets, in 2017, Travis co-founded Generation4 Partners as the vehicle to develop a significant regional portfolio of large, primarily climate controlled self-storage.

Additionally, as Managing Director for Colliers International Student Housing Group, Travis runs the national student housing platform based in Tampa, FL. During his four years with Colliers, Travis has been a Top 5 Producer every year and the Top Producer in the state of Florida the last two years. His transaction volume is consistently in the top of Colliers production globally. Travis regularly assists clients with portfolio analysis, acquisition and disposition strategies, capital stack and joint venture structures and leasing and management ideas.

Travis holds a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University, where he graduated in 1998 as a member of the varsity baseball team.
